The MySplint Heat-Activated Custom-Fit Wrist Splint is designed to offer personalized support for wrists affected by injury, strain, or conditions like carpal tunnel and arthritis. Using advanced thermoplastic materials, MySplint molds to the natural contours of your wrist for a secure, comfortable fit that provides targeted support exactly where its needed. Unlike typical ""one size fits all"" splints, MySplint offers a more tailored approach that aligns specifically with your wrists unique shape, promoting effective support and stability. MySplints three-layer thermoplastic structure softens when heated in a microwave, allowing you to mold it precisely to your wrist. As it cools, it returns to a firm, stable form, maintaining its custom shape. The ultra-plush foam layer ensures comfort for extended wear, and MySplint can be reshaped up to five times to adapt to changes in your wrist support needs. To use, simply warm MySplint in the microwave (following the included instructions), fit it to your wrist, and let it cool to form a custom fit. Suitable for left or right wrists. Note: Heat is for molding only and should not be applied directly to the wrist. Heating Instructions: 1. Unfold and place on provided tray in middle of microwave. 2. Heat support for 30 seconds (1000-1100 watt microwave). Check splint to ensure its warm, not hot, and thermoplstic is evenly pliable (soft to the touch). Heating times may vary based on microwave power. 3. If needed, heat splint on tray for additional 10 seconds until thermoplastic is evenly pliable. CAUTION: To avoid burns, do not overheat and allow 3 minutes to cool after microwaving. Do not use with analgesic products. Do not use on broken or sensitive skin. Molding Instructions: 1. Slide splint loosely over wrist. 2. Fasten bottom and top closures, do not fasten middle strap. Remove splint immediately if too hot. 3. Lightly massage thermoplastic to conform to wrist and then keep wrist steady until thermoplastic has hardened (~10 min). 4. Once thermoplastic hardens, fasten middle strap.
